Poppy Jasper Farm was founded by Heather and Bruce Perlich in 2016 as a small hobby farm. Over the years, we’ve had the privilege of gathering a talented team of people who bring their own heart, passion, and love of gardening and farming to what we do. Their hard work and dedication are what drive this farm.

As Heather says, “Without our team, Bruce and I would not be able to do any of this.”

Poppy Jasper Farm is nestled in the heart of Paradise Valley. We respectfully acknowledge that Poppy Jasper Farm sits on the ancestral homelands of the Amah Mutsun Tribal Band of the Ohlone People, who originally cared for and stewarded these lands. We honor their connection to this land and are grateful for the opportunity to care for it today.

Heather’s experience as a Master Gardener and environmentalist has helped shape the way we care for our garden and grow our produce. Our goals are to continue to learn from the land and listen to its needs. We are especially honored to safeguard our 400-year-old oak tree, who embodies the heart of the farm.

Today, our small team is excited to share the farm with our Morgan Hill community. As our garden began producing more fresh vegetables than we could use or donate, we decided to open our doors and share our seasonal harvest through our weekly Thursday produce boxes.

We’re passionate about growing nutritious food with care. While we are not certified organic, we practice organic methods. We do not use pesticides and are intentional about caring for our soil and being thoughtful about what goes into our garden.

Our produce boxes are filled with what’s fresh and in season each week, so no two boxes are exactly alike. We love being able to share a little piece of Poppy Jasper Farm with our community — “From our farm to your table.”
